Workplace Issues

Some people live to work, and others work to live. Regardless of where you fall on that spectrum, a lot of people these days identify themselves by the work that they do. Work in an average occupation will take up a large portion of your time and energy, and if you are happy and well-treated in your workplace, enjoying what you are doing, this can be a great experience.

However, if going to work becomes a daily struggle, making you feel stressed or sick or unsatisfied, taking steps to improve your situation can begin by talking to someone about the troubles you are facing.

Workplace issues can include:

  • Insecurity about tenure
  • Changes in structure/management/culture
  • Uncertainty about role
  • Mixed messages from bosses
  • Bullying
  • Unachievable expectations
  • Sexual harassment
  • Lack of stimulation
  • Unhappiness in the field of work
